Palm Sunday 2016. THE TEARFUL ENTRY

Some things out there certainly can confuse us, but people are also often confused about Palm Sunday as well. Let me try to clear a few things up for us today about it. We call this Palm Sunday because it is the Sunday before Easter when Jesus rode into Jerusalem and the residents waved palm branches as He approached. This is commonly called the Triumphal Entry, but when you read the scripture, you discover it wasn’t a triumphal entry; instead it was a tearful entry. Read Luke 19:28-44.
